Established in 2013 as a not-for-profit social educational enterprise under Vingroup, Vinschool Education System has rapidly grown in enrollment and earned recognition from the Ministry of Education and Training (MOET) for its leading role in Vietnam's education reform.
Hanoi is surrounded by picturesque countryside, where weekend getaways and outdoor adventures await, such as the UNESCO World Heritage site Halong Bay, two hours away by car. Vinschool Times City is strategically located four kilometers from Hoan Kiem, Hanoi's historic center known for its vibrant shopping scenes and bustling narrow streets. The greater Times City area features numerous high-rise residential buildings, a wide array of cafes, restaurants, a hospital, a spacious shopping mall with a cinema, and well-equipped sports facilities and gyms.
Fully accredited by the Council of International Schools, Vinschool Times City currently serves 8,844 pre-K through UK Year 13 students, most of whom are Vietnamese. The school’s bilingual program delivers the UK Secondary Curriculum and A Levels as well as the International General Certificate of Secondary Education. About 85% of the teaching staff are Vietnamese.
After school, Vinschool Times City encourages students to pursue their interests and passions in the areas of sports, arts, music, and academia. While some teachers and outside experts guide extracurricular club activities, the school also cooperates with other educational organizations, such as Helen O’Grady Speech & Drama Academy, CreMusic, Vietnam Soroban Academy, BTS (Gymkids), Gokids, Sport Skills Academy, MoneyTree, Onespace, Young Hit Young Beat, Shine Academy, Sport Skills Academy.
Vinschool Times City hires experienced, certified teachers of diverse profiles, including couples with a non-teaching partner. They would also consider interns wishing to experience teaching overseas. Candidates need not hold their academic degree in the subject they will be teaching, and there is no age limit to obtain a work visa in Vietnam.
The overseas teaching benefits package includes allowances for moving and monthly housing. Airfare is provided for overseas teaching employees at the beginning and end of each two-year contract. Additionally, tuition is free for the first two children and 50% for three or more. Daily lunch is provided. The school provides professional development opportunities. For international teaching families, worldwide health insurance—except for the U.S.—is provided and includes emergency evacuation.
