Since 2017, Search Associates has been proudly partnering with United World Schools (UWS) to promote global education and provide quality schooling for underserved communities. This long-standing collaboration continues to support the mission of UWS in building and sustaining schools in some of the world’s most marginalized areas.
A Walk for Education: Empowering Communities
Search Associates joined hands with United World Schools for the "Walk for Education" campaign last June, a global initiative to raise awareness and funds for children who face significant barriers to accessing education. Members of the Search Associates team, alongside educators and supporters worldwide, participated in this impactful event to help UWS expand its educational footprint in remote regions. Through this campaign and annual fundraising efforts, Search Associates raised over $13,000 USD, contributing directly to UWS’s efforts to build schools, train local teachers, and provide quality education to thousands of children.
Building Connections: UWS at the Toronto Recruitment Fair
The partnership extended further when Francesca Lanning, Executive Director of UWS USA, attended the Toronto Recruitment Fair in February of 2024. The job fair allowed Francesca to meet with schools and candidates, raising awareness of UWS’s vital work and fostering potential collaborations with international school leaders. This platform enabled UWS to network with top educators and showcase how their schools are changing lives, highlighting opportunities for educators to get involved.
Looking Ahead
As this partnership continues to grow, Search Associates and UWS are already exploring new ways to collaborate and make an even greater impact. With plans to engage more schools, educators, and communities in future initiatives, both organizations are united in their shared mission of transforming lives through education.
Through these efforts, Search Associates remains committed to supporting international education and helping shape the future for the next generation of learners, one step at a time.
