SEARCH ASSOCIATES AND PD ACADEMIA LAUNCH SECOND YEAR OF HR TRAINING WORKSHOPS IN CHINA
Following a successful launch of a Human Resources (HR) Training Program in China last academic year, Search Associates is proud to continue its partnership with PD Academia to host a new series of HR Training Sessions during the 2022/2023 school year. This year’s line-up of events, facilitated by local experts in the field of international school recruitment, will take place online and in-person between October 2022 and May of 2023. SEARCH ASSOCIATES PARTNERS WITH PD ACADEMIA TO CONDUCT AN HR TRAINING WORKSHOP IN CHINA
Search Associates is partnering with PD Academia to develop and implement a Human Resources (HR) Training Program that will help more schools in China attract and retain high-quality teachers.
The rationale for such a program is the substantial growth of international schools globally, including in China, which has strained the supply of teachers with the expertise and willingness to teach internationally. PD Academia, a leading educational management consultancy, has been providing consulting and training services to international schools in China since 2011.
Search Associates has also identified common HR-related challenges that have adversely affected the hiring and retention of international educators, especially in the newer international schools in China, with a majority host country student population. This is the fastest growing segment of international schools in China. For this reason, Search Associates and PD Academia have jointly developed an HR Training Program to help attract high-quality educators to schools in China.
The aims of this partnership are to:
- Train school HR staff:
- To better understand and anticipate the expectations of international educators
- To develop and implement well-formulated policies and procedures related to recruitment, onboarding, and retention
- Enhance the experience of foreign teachers hired by schools who have limited experience in employing international educators
- Overall, help schools in China become a preferred destination for quality educators from around the world!
Search Associates and PD Academia will be conducting their first such invitation-only training program in October 2021.
