SPH KV emphasizes both its Christian mission and contributing to the holistic improvement of all things through education. Since its establishment in 2010, the school has thrived by offering students a supportive environment to grow and excel.

Kemang Village is a highly desirable area in South Jakarta, attractive and convenient for those teaching abroad. Known for its modern amenities, urban spaces, cultural diversity, and safety, the school offers easy access to Jakarta's business and entertainment district. International school teachers will enjoy several options for shopping, dining, entertainment, fitness, and recreation within walking distance from their home. Known for its cultural diversity and vibrant and inclusive community, Kemang Village is an excellent place to meet people from all over the world. The area is relatively safe, with a low crime rate, and diligent with security measures.

SPH KV has a high-rise campus development concept, purposefully designed to elevate learning experiences. Within the learning spaces category, the school boasts spacious and inviting features such as fully equipped classrooms, science labs, and a comprehensive library. Additionally, a full-size gymnasium, an indoor swimming pool, and modern sport courts contribute to students' physical development. The performing arts theater serves as a creative hub, fostering artistic expression and collaboration.

Complementing the learning areas are the after-school spaces that cater to holistic growth. A newly added playground and a soccer field encourage active play, while a fitness room promotes health and wellness. The revamped makerspace facilitates hands-on exploration and innovation. To cater to various needs, the school also provides a canteen and a food technology lab, ensuring both sustenance and practical learning experiences. This array of facilities collectively enriches students' educational journey, nurturing their academic, artistic, physical, and practical skills.

Accredited by both the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) and the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI), SPH KV currently enrolls over 500 K-12 students, representing 19 nationalities, with over half from the local community. The school uses inquiry-based learning to follow the Cambridge International Curriculum for Kindergarten to Grade 10 followed by the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) for Grades 11 and 12. SPH KV students are encouraged to inquire, pursue personal aspirations, set challenging goals, and develop the persistence to achieve those goals. The teaching staff comprises 61 individuals, with 20 educators recruited from Indonesia to contribute to the seamless cultural integration of the international teaching experience.

SPH KV prioritizes a tailor-made curriculum designed to boost students’ competency and skills. As part of the Christian school’s focus on holistic education, three unique programs are designed to meet students' needs and help them develop competencies and skills. Through Passion Block, students can explore their interests, while Care and Connect groups offer a supportive environment for sharing faith journeys. Mission Service Learning experiences enable students to serve as leaders and make meaningful differences in communities beyond their own.

SPH KV is launching a Middle School Program to smooth students’ transition and prepare them for success in the IB Diploma Programme. The program is built on four pillars that reflect the core values of SPH; culture, community, learning environment, and teaching team. Aligned with the IB and holistic approach that SPH has integrated in its classroom, the Middle School Program was developed as an inquiry-based learning environment where students can ask questions and creatively solve real world problems.

The supportive community at SPH Kemang Village extends beyond the classroom with a range of extracurricular activities and events that allow students to connect with one another and pursue their interests. Whether through sports teams, music groups, or community service clubs, students enjoy a wealth of opportunities to build relationships and make lasting memories. As a result, the school has cultivated a culture of inclusivity, kindness, and respect, where every student feels valued and supported. The strong sense of community at SPH Kemang Village is further reinforced by the various activities initiated by the Parent Advisory Group (PAG).

At SPH KV, teachers are not just educators but also mentors who build meaningful connections with their students. The faculty is as diverse as our student body, and this close-knit community enables teachers to track students' development and accelerate it to the best of their abilities.

They take the time to understand each student's unique strengths, challenges, and interests and work to help them reach their full potential. This personalized approach to education helps students feel seen and heard and allows them to build strong relationships with their teachers and peers.

SPH KV can hire singles and couples of diverse profiles wishing to teach abroad, including couples with a non-teaching partner, newly certified candidates, experienced teachers without certification, and interns. Teachers need not hold an academic degree in the subject they will be teaching. As per government regulations, teachers up to the age of 60 may obtain a work visa. The school adds,

SPH KV is seeking passionate Christian educators who share our vision and are eager to join us on this journey. At SPH Kemang Village, we believe that education is more than just imparting knowledge – it is about nurturing and developing the whole child… We are seeking individuals who are agile, adaptive and creative thinkers, with a passion for meeting the diverse needs of our students. If you have a heart for teaching, a strong faith & relationship with Christ, and a desire to make a difference in the lives of young people, we would love to hear from you.

The overseas teaching benefits package includes housing and utilities, worldwide health insurance coverage, relocation allowance, annual airfare, sponsored tuition and a retirement plan for the teachers. Furthermore, there will be professional development opportunities for all staff every year.
