Digital Campus in PunggolFounded in 2008 and acquired by Global Schools Foundation in 2015, OWIS currently comprises two campuses. Nanyang campus opened mid-school year in January 2018 with more than 250 students from Early Childhood through secondary. By the start of the new school year in August 2018, this number increased to 750. In 2023, OWIS Digital Campus (Punggol), an expansive campus with state-of-the-art facilities in the North-East of Singapore, opened its doors. Offering a top-tier secondary school experience to students preparing for university and beyond, OWIS Punggol currently welcomes learners in secondary school up to Grade 8 and plans to expand up to Grade 12 in the coming years. At NanyangFully accredited by EduTrust, the school uses inquiry-based learning to deliver the Montessori method followed by the International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years and Diploma Programmes as well as the International General Certificate of Secondary Education.

OWIS hires certified overseas teaching couples of diverse profiles, including those with a non-teaching partner. They will also consider singles, newly certified candidates, and interns wanting overseas teaching experience. Teachers need not hold their academic degree in the subject they will be teaching. As per government regulations, certified teachers up to the age of 55 may obtain a work visa.

Inside PunggolThe overseas teaching benefits package includes allowances for housing and airfare. OWIS covers 75% tuition for all dependents. In addition to school based professional development (PD), individual training plans are created for each teacher, which includes further PD opportunities. Worldwide health insurance—except for the U.S.—is fully covered. There are local employment opportunities for non-teaching partners.
