Dear Search Associates Colleagues,

On behalf of The International School of Azerbaijan (TISA) Search Committee, we are pleased to announce that Ms. Helen Brocklesby has been appointed as the new TISA Head of School beginning in August 2025.

The TISA Search Committee selected Ms. Helen Brocklesby from a highly experienced and qualified group of candidates based on her considerable leadership experience in international schools. Mr. Matt Kirkham, TISA Board Chair and Chair of the TISA Search Committee, shared the following about Ms. Helen Brocklesby’s candidacy and appointment: “We are delighted to welcome Ms. Helen Brocklesby as TISA’s next Head of School. Helen brings a wealth of experience in leading international schools, a passion for education excellence, and a deep commitment to student-centered learning. We are confident that under her leadership, TISA will continue to Engage, Empower, and Inspire every learner.”

Ms. Helen Brocklesby looks forward to joining TISA and to serving as the next Head of School. In response to her appointment, Ms. Helen Brocklesby shared "I thoroughly enjoyed my experience visiting TISA and meeting the school community. I was impressed by the warm, positive atmosphere and the evident student pride. The school's emphasis on inclusion, student-centered learning and values resonates strongly with my personal beliefs and philosophy, and I am genuinely excited about the opportunity to contribute to this outstanding community and learning more about this unique part of the world."
