Dear Search Colleagues,

On behalf of Cognita Asia and the Search Committee at Stamford American School in Hong Kong,  we are pleased to announce that Mr. Marco Longmore has been appointed Head of School beginning in August 2023.

Mr. Longmore is currently serving as the Founder and Executive Director of Castle Rock Education, Ltd. in Hong Kong.  Mr. Longmore has served in several leadership roles which include the Head of College at Fettes College in Guangzhou, China, Headmaster at Brighton College in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, Rector (Principal) at The Edinburgh Academy in Edinburgh, Scotland, and Senior Deputy Head at Alleyn’s School, Dulwich, in London, England.  

Mr. Longmore earned a Master of Arts in History from the University of Edinburgh, Postgraduate Certificate in Education from Moray House College of Education in Edinburgh, Postgraduate Certificate in Management in Education from St. Andrews College of Education in Edinburgh, Scottish Qualification for Headship from Moray House College of Education in Edinburgh and Postgraduate Diploma in Educational Management and Leadership from Moray House College of Education in Edinburgh.
