Dear Colleagues,

The George Washington Academy in Casablanca, Morocco has hired Colin Webster to be its next Head of School, starting this summer.

Here’s the text of the announcement to the school community:

It is our great pleasure to announce that Colin Webster will join the George Washington Academy Community as our new Head of School beginning the 2020-2021 school year. 

For those of you who have not yet met him, Colin has both Bachelor and Master of Education degrees and is currently finishing his dissertation to obtain a Doctor of Education degree. He taught middle school and has solid experience in school administration in the Middle East and Africa. His last position was that of Head of School for 4 years in Eritrea. 

You may see Colin on campus in the coming months as we introduce him to the rest of the GWA family.  His early engagement in the community and collaboration with the team will help ensure a smooth transition. 

The search attracted a strong pool of applicants, and Colin is an outstanding hire for this opportunity.
