Dear Search Colleagues, 

On behalf of the Director of the American Embassy School (AES), New Delhi and the Search Committee, I am pleased to announce that Charles Bellomy has been appointed as Head HR & Organizational Culture. Charles has been serving as both the Elementary School Principal and the Interim Head of HR.

In announcing Charles’ appointment, Rand Harrington, Director AES had this to say:

“It is with great pleasure that I am announcing that Charles Bellomy has accepted our offer to become the next full-time Head of Human Resources (HR) for AES. Charles has shown that he has the integrity and overall professionalism to serve AES well in this position. Prior to his work in International Schools, Charles was trained in HR and worked in that capacity for several different companies. He also holds a master's degree in counseling psychology.  In the short time he has served as Interim Head of HR, Charles has already had a significant impact helping us to navigate a number of new initiatives successfully. Please join me in congratulating Charles and welcoming him into this new role”.

Rand also thanked the cross-functional search committee: “working with Search Associates, they reviewed several top-tier candidates and were unanimous in their recommendation to offer Charles the position”.
