Head of Curriculum, Accreditation and Professional Learning

Dear Colleagues,

On behalf of the International School of Luxembourg, I am delighted to announce that Ms.Kelly Deklinski has been appointed as the new Head of Curriculum, Accreditation and Professional Learning, commencing August 2026.

Ms. Deklinski brings a wealth of leadership experience, knowledge, and expertise to this role.  She is currently serving as the Assistant Principal/MYP Coordinator at The International School of Luxembourg, where she is leading the school through MYP Candidacy and Authorisation. Prior to this, she held the roles of Academic Affairs Coordinator, MYP Coordinator and Service Coordinator at Senri and Osaka International Schools of Kwansei Gakuin in Japan.

Ms. Deklinski holds a Masters of Music from Florida State University and a Bachelor of Science in Music Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania Robert E Cook Honors College.

Iain Fish, the Director of ISL commented that, “Kelly was selected from a highly experienced and qualified group of candidates based on how she impressed everybody with her thinking, articulation and energy, and the clarity with which she approaches complex situations.”

In response to her appointment as the Head of Curriculum, Accreditation and Professional Learning, Ms. Deklinski shared, “I am delighted and deeply honoured to be taking on the role of Head of Curriculum, Accreditation and Professional Learning at ISL. This is a school and community I care about enormously, and I am excited to continue working alongside colleagues, students and families to strengthen meaningful, connected and future-focused learning across the school.”
