Dear Friends and Colleagues,

On behalf of the Board of Directors and Search Committee of the International School of Ulm/Neu-Ulm in Ulm, Germany, and Search Associates, I am pleased to announce that after a worldwide search which produced a large number of highly qualified candidates, Dr. Liam Browne has been appointed as the new ISU Director, beginning in July 2016 for the 2016-17 academic year. 

Dr. Browne is currently High School Principal of The International School of Stavanger in Stavanger, Norway. Prior to his present position he was Director of Studies at St. Nicholas School in Sao Paulo, Brazil. He has also taught in Brazil and in Germany. After earning an undergraduate degree and a Ph.D. in History in his native Ireland, he is currently pursuing a second doctorate in Educational Leadership at Walden University in the USA.
