Dear Friends and Colleagues,

On behalf of the Board of Directors and Search Committee of the International School of Kenya (ISK) in Nairobi, Kenya, I am pleased to announce that after a worldwide search which produced a large number of highly qualified candidates, Mr. David Henry has been appointed as the new ISK Director, beginning the 2016-17 academic year.

Mr. Henry is currently Director of the Tashkent International School in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. He has held previous head of school positions in the Bahamas, Mali, and Chad. He has also worked in El Salvador, Saudi Arabia, Niger, Burkina Faso and Latvia as well as in the United States.

Mr. Henry earned Master’s Degrees from the College of New Jersey and Howard University, and a BS from the University of Tulsa. David, together with his wife Maria and their daughters, will move to Nairobi in July 2016.

The Search Committee, Board of Directors and Search Associates would like to thank all candidates who expressed interest in the IS-Kenya Director position, and to everyone who assisted and supported the search process.
