Lana joined Search Associates as a Senior Consultant after concluding a 19-year tenure at the American School of Doha, where she served as the Lower Elementary Principal. Lana is well versed in the areas of Professional Learning Communities of Practice, Data-Driven Learning and Leadership, Standards-Based Learning Systems, Constructivist Pedagogy, International Mindedness, and Culturally Inclusive Practices.
Lana worked in international schools for 28 years. During her career, Lana served as an IB Primary Years Program Coordinator, Elementary Associate Principal, and Lower Elementary Principal. Lana holds a Bachelor of Education in Elementary Education with a Specialization in Early Childhood (McGill University), a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction (McGill University), and a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership (University of Western Ontario).
