Search Associates 2015 London Spring Fair

The 2015 London Spring job fair had a remarkable turnout this year, with 175 candidates and recruiters from 39 international schools filling the Hilton London Paddington. Executive Vice President and fair organizer David Cope remarked that there were plenty of high quality candidates in attendance, and that many positions have already been filled. David predicts that over 60 of the available 228 positions will soon be complete. A wide range of countries were represented at the Fair, with 9 schools each from both China and Africa.

Senior Associate Harry Deelman and his team joined David and his staff to run the fair. Many of the participants were enthusiastic about the fair's organization and described their experience as "simply perfect." Candidates and recruiters alike gave their overall experience at the fair high ratings. One couple wrote afterwards to say,

"Thank you very much… We were very impressed by the professionalism, the amount of opportunities and the general set up of the days. It was very easy to find information out quickly and effectively about a lot of different countries and schools."

The atmosphere was marvelous, and the event was both relaxed and friendly. The faded art deco style of the Hilton London Paddington enhanced its ambiance, charming the attendees. The hotel's convenient location allowed fair guests to be checking in within 20 minutes of leaving Heathrow Airport. One candidate commented that it was evidently "not possible to improve on the location."

The Search Associates London Spring Fair continues to be the largest of our late-season fairs. It is an ideal recruiting opportunity for international schools worldwide to fill overseas teaching positions later in the recruiting cycle.
