Secondary Principal

Dear Colleagues,

On behalf of Ms. Inna Klein, Head of School at Xiamen International School, Xiamen, PRC, we are pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Cal Stuart as the Secondary Principal beginning in July 2024.

Cal is currently serving as the Middle School Deputy Principal at the International Community School (ICS), Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.  Cal also has served in leadership roles in Taiwan, Thailand, and South Korea.

In the announcement from Ms. Klein to the XIS community, she indicated, “After two days of onsite interviews with many stakeholders at XIS, it became clear that Mr. Stuart was the right choice to keep our secondary school moving forward. Mr. Stuart was very impressed with the XIS community and is ecstatic to join our team.”

In accepting the position, Cal reiterated, “My passion for education, commitment to fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and dedication to empowering students to reach their full potential align perfectly with the values and vision of XIS. I am eager to collaborate with the dedicated faculty, staff, students, and parents to further enhance the academic and personal growth of our students.”
