Dear Search Colleagues,
On behalf of the Search Committee and the Administration of The KAUST School in Saudi Arabia, and their partners at Search Associates, we are pleased to announce that Dr. Ron Lalonde has been appointed to assume the role of Middle School Principal in 2023-2024.
Dr. Lalonde is currently the Director General at The American School of Tampico in Tampico, Mexico, a position he has held since 2021. Previous leadership positions for Dr. Lalonde include, Interim High School Principal at the American School of Dubai (2020-2021), Middle School Principal at the American School of Dubai (2012-2017), Middle School Assistant Principal (2002-2005) and Middle School Principal (2010-2012) at the American School Foundation of Monterrey, Mexico, and Middle School Assistant Principal (2005-2007) at the American School of London.
Dr. Lalonde earned a B.A. in Philosophy at Queen’s University in Kingston, Canada, a B.Ed. from the University of Toronto, a M.A. in Education from the University of Toronto, and an Ed.D. in International Educational Leadership from the University of Calgary in Alberta, Canada.
