Dear Colleagues,
On behalf of the Search Committee and the Board of Management of the International School of Yangon in Yangon, Myanmar, I am pleased to announce that after a worldwide search which produced a large number of highly qualified candidates, Dr. Greg Hedger has been appointed the new Director beginning in July 2016.
Dr. Hedger is currently Superintendent of Escuela Campo Alegre in Caracas, Venezuela. Prior to his current position, Dr. Hedger was Director of Qatar Academy in Doha, Qatar from 2007-2012, and was Director of the Cayman International School in the Cayman Islands from 2003-2007. He has also held teaching and/or administrative positions in Pakistan, Indonesia, Romania and in the USA.
